Christmas Lights Switch On, 15th NovemberJoin Santa in his Parade as he heads down King Street on his way to his Grotto.
A Night To RememberA spectacular night with a light and sound procession to King's Park with entertainment for all the family.
When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and break her icy spell. Although this epic journey leads them to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman, harsh conditions, and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip.
Dressing up is encouraged for this event (and will add to the fun) - why not come as Anna, Elsa or Olaf

Santa Parade and Christmas Light Switch On
The afternoon will be hosted by Central FM with help from special guests. The Christmas lights will be switched on by The Thistles Shopping Centre competition winner at 5.00pm at the bottom of King Street. Running order
We're holding a Carnival of Light and Sound with a parade through the city centre followed by entertainment at King's Park.
We will also have a Midnight Moment of fireworks across the city skyline.
6.00pm - Parade starts at the top of King Street

This is an alcohol-free event and drinking will not be permitted on the event site. Please wrap up and wear appropriate footwear.
Join in our free, family-friendly fun run on New Year's Day and start off 2016 the right way. The run, with 5k and 2.5k options, will take place in the scenic grounds of the University of Stirling, starting from the playing fields by the Gannochy Sports Centre at 1pm.
Registration forms can be downloaded here, at the Run4It shop in Bridge of Allan and at The Peak. Please bring forms to the Run4It shop to register and collect numbers. Registration will also be available on the day from 12pm at the Gannochy.
Please not that all children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult who can keep up.
Stirling has excellent public transport links and visitors were urged to use public transport wherever possible.
Stirling is well serviced by a network of local and national bus services. Routes, times and fares to Stirling are available from Traveline Scotland.
Stirling has excellent train services from the main cities in Scotland such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee and Perth as well as more local stations.
